This one especially delighted me. It begins with the language of longing — “DREAM of me my love!” — then immediately undercuts that romance with the wonderfully unromantic and hilarious “without the EDEMA,” before landing on “You can AMEND that.” I love the way the poem shifts from tender to absurd to witty and even flirtatious in just three lines.
