words from wordle 1,935

DIMLY gave this round a natural atmosphere of low light, hesitation, and things happening at the edge of clarity. Lari turns it into a bedtime scene, auntie jj finds a vending machine glowing through dizziness and hunger, and Mark makes dimness almost psychological, pairing it with procrastination and tomorrow’s deadline.

The stronger poems let DIMLY affect more than illumination. It became mood, uncertainty, fatigue, or half-hearted motion. Even with some very peculiar constraint words—DILLY, DIGIT, FROND, BILLY—the best entries found a single scene sturdy enough to hold them together.

Robo 5/6
DRINK and you DIVOT
A DICEY and DILLY shank
To DIMLY lit woods

Debbie Wilson 5/6
Heading SOUTH; WEARY
Bent PINKY from BILLY goat
A barn DIMLY lit

Mark 4/6
STARE off, CLOUD in cup
DILLY dally, DIMLY do
It’s due tomorrow

Diana Marie 4/6
STAND poised on platform
Trains GLIDE — drop is a DILLY
Station DIMLY lit…

Lari
“Don’t LEAVE! GOLLY gee!”
“Time to sleep,” Mom said DRYLY.
Room was DIMLY lit…

auntie jj 5/6
CRAVE snack, punch DIGIT
DIZZY, don’t DILLY dally
machine DIMLY lit

Mick
the day did CAUSE her
to FROND dance to a DITTY
however DIMLY

leaden day did CAUSE
a FROND dance to a DITTY
however DIMLY

what it is

  • worku is a daily practice where your wordle guesses become a haiku
  • use your guesses in the same order you played them
  • aim for imagery and flavor over perfect grammar
  • add a touch of nature, humor, or irony

“Worku is good for saying what you are thinking, which is why I have so many about cheese. Nice finding a place.” — Mark
